Summary Pg. 278-466
After
they go to Lacus to catch a ferry to solas and they stay the night with
some of Rovender's friends, Eva get caught by a soothsayer named Arius who
leaves marks on her hand. She then got captured by Besteel. Besteel took Eva to
the museum to kill Eva and put her on display. She then saw one creature who is
Arius' brother. They become friends. He helped her escape from Besteel.
She saw a display with her type of shoes and sneakboots in them
and figured out that they were dug up in some runes out in the desert. Eva
wanted to find more about them so she traveled to the runes. Besteel was there,
waiting for them. Eva and Rovender hid from Besteel in an old New York library.
Eva was amazed by a big library. She walked around and found a book with a copy
of the picture from her WondLa. WondLa is picture she found in the Sanctuary.
In the picture, there's a family of three people, the father, the daughter, and
a robot. They looked all happy so she wanted to find them.
The WondLa was the cover of the book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,
by L. Frank Baum. She was shocked that it was not a real picture, but just a
cover of a fictional book. She then heard Otto telling her that Besteel
has found him. She wanted to help Otto but he insists by letting Muthr take her
out. Muthr then take Eva out of the library. Besteel was infront of them. He
shot his gun, which nearly killed Eva, Muthr was the one who block Eva and take
she shot herself. Eva got away with Rovender. She showed him the book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,
by L. Frank. The
cover of the book is undamaged, unlike the WondLa she has. It's a picture of
the little girl, arm in arm with a robot and a man with a wide-brimmed hat,
walking about in the wondrous world. They were smiling. They were happy.
When morning comes, Eva and Rovender lie down Muthr. They put some
flowers around her. Eva cries and pulls out the old tome, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. She
placed the book in the robot's rubber-tipped had, over her heart. Rovender ask
Eva that why she doesn't want it. Eva replies that she found what she was
looking for.
Eva was deciding where she would go next, without Muthr by her
side. She wanted to back to her village. There's a nice weather. While she was
talking to Rovender, she heard Otto sings to her to look up in the sky. She
looks up and saw a falling star. It was not a falling star, it was a ship. The
ship was battered, decorated in bright yellow and black checks, and had a round
clear cockpit window set in the nose. Eva was amazed. Eva saw that they
belonged to a boy, a human boy. He introduced himself. His name is Hailey. He
said, "Don't be afraid. I've tracked you down from far away. I'm here to
bring you back home."

Summary Pg. 226-277
After they reach the village called Lacus they followed Rovender
to his friend's house, whose name is Fiscian. They ask for a room to stay,
Hostia, Fiscian's wife, allowed them to stay, and asked Besteel had traveled to
the village.
Then Eva wanted to explore the market, which they passed on their
way to the house. But then Muthr and Rovender disagreed, and told Eva that it
is too dangerous. Then she explored the house and ate dinner with Fiscian's
family, they had a tradition to drink the house drink. Each house has a
different kind of drink. Then she started again to explore the house and saw
many paintings, and she didn't really focus on things around her and suddenly
hit a table and got injured. After some time she went to sleep... after her nap
she decided to sneak out and explore the village by herself, and just told
Muthr that she needed to use the bathroom. She said that she would be back in
no time.
Then she walked around the village and then she heard a song and
heard someone calling to her. While walking along, she came along a house.
After walking in, she saw that there were many things lying around the house.
While walking along, a voice called her to come in and she met a
strange creature named Arius. Arius said that she was somewhat like Eva, just
not on the outside. Eva wanted to know more. Arius said she knew how the
two of them had ended up there, but she refused to tell any more. Arius said
she summoned Eva as a gift.
Eva, not understanding, wanted to leave and bring back
another gift, but Arius said nothing can replace Eva. Eva was afraid, so
she ran out and tried to hide for a long time. Finally, she remembered that the
way she was running was back to the house, and she didn't want everyone to
be in trouble so she ran to the other side. In the end, Eva remembered Hostia's
warning about hunting turnfins, diving spiderfish, and never being able to
hide.

Summary Pg. 77-225
Eva
falls unconscious after she got kidnapped. She then wakes up in the forest with
the creature she found inside the abandoned Sanctuary. She tried to escape. By
the help of that creature, she was able to get out of the rope around her
ankle. She then climbs the tree and initiates her Omnipod to Gym Buddy. She
threw the Omnipod as hard as she could. She helps the creature that got
kidnapped with her and tried to run away. She then heard a sound from somewhere
near. She looked around and saw a really big, 6 legged animal. The animal told
her to get on its back with her friend. She then got on and it starts to fly.
After
she landed on the ground, the creature starts to tell her something. He handed
her a metal rock. Eva doesn't know what to do. He then blows the dust from the
metal rock to her face. Eva was very angry. But after a few seconds, she heard
he said something that she understands. After communicating for awhile, she
then understands that if she speaks to the rock, she will understand what the
creature is saying. He told her that his name is Rovender Kitt, and the guy
that kidnapped them is called Besteel. Besteel is a huntsman. He hunts for the
Queen.
Eva
wanted to find Muthr, so she went back to the Sanctuary. Rovender help her to
get to the Sanctuary because she helped him to escape Besteel. They followed
the direction the Omnipod showed them. Then they come across the sand snipers, and
then they went on Otto, the creature she helped from Besteel. They walked down
the stairs down to the sanctuary, which asked for the password for going
inside. Remembering the code from her dresser, she typed it in and found out
that it was correct and as they searched for Muthr, they found her in a pool
lying lifeless. Picking her up, they took her to the control room and changed
her batteries. Coming back to life, Muthr was full of joy when she saw that Eva
was alive and doing well. Eva told Muthr that everything on the surface was
totally different from all the holograms. As they were chatting,
Rovender interrupted and said that you are not on Earth but on a
planet named Orbona.
Telling
Rovender that they wanted to find a place where other humans were dwelling.
Rovender wanted to take them to a village across the Wandering Forest, but
Muthr wanted to take Eva into a country where there was another Sanctuary which
she knew not if it was abandoned or not. Eva wanted to go with
Rovender to the village, instead of the Sanctuary. Travelling for days they get
to the village that they were headed to.

Summary Pg. 1-77
The Search for
WondLa is a
fantasy book. In the beginning, Eva Nine was lying on the ground in the
forest. She was dying because she was bitten by a snake, which turning out to
be a test in the Sanctuary.
She had never been out of the Sanctuary for twelve years (which is
all of her life). She lived with a robot called Muthr. Muthr always told her
that she was special and there's no other like her. But Eva wanted to go to the
surface. On that night, she cut herself with a knife while cooking. She went to
the supply room to look for a medical sticker, and then she found the secret
door. Then she remember than Muthr told her when she was five years old that
the door was a malfunctioning door that had been sealed off long before Eva
Nine was born. She had forgotten about it until now. She also remember when she
was eight years old, Eva found a cryptic code in her dresser. It said,
"CP01: OMNICSIENT: FLOOR PLAN."
Suddenly on that night there was suddenly intruders who broke in
and cause a sudden attack on their Sanctuary. In the midst of the attack Eva
was forced to flee her home and leave Muthr. Having nowhere to run, she goes up
towards the surface, but then finds that there were also intruders on the
surface. Knowing not what to do she frantically runs to any direction, not
knowing where she was going. As she hid from the intruders, the sun came up,
having to see the sun for the first time she thought that she would burn from
the heat.
As she explored this so called "surface" which she had
only seen in holograms, it was totally different from what she has seen in the
holograms. Such as things she thought that were trees, weren't trees and rocks
that weren't rocks, but walking creatures that her Omnipod could not even identify.
As she was following the Omnipod's directions she then came across
another Sanctuary. But then in that Sanctuary, she found it was abandoned but
as to her surprise, she found that there was one creature living inside the
Sanctuary! Not understanding the strange creature's language she knew not what
he was saying. Arguing with each other, though not even understanding each
other's words, they just continued arguing, until she and the creature was
knocked them out and captured them.
